When registering for Neo4j Aura part of the process to do so requires customers to provide a valid email address, which will be the account you use to connect to the service (as mentioned in the point 2 of the Terms of Service).
Whilst it may be tempting to use a generic email account when registering with Aura, especially when duties are shared amongst multiple colleagues in your team, we would discourage this for the following reasons
- Lack of traceability for operations.
- Email may not be well monitored or lack of ownership making it more difficult to contact/alert in case of issues.
If you do decide to use a generic email account, when colleagues leave a project or no longer require access to the Aura console, we would suggest as good practice you change the password on the account. Anyone who has access to the password for the email address in order to connect to Aura, will have admin rights over your data still.
