If your AuraDB or AuraDS instance is running into difficulty, please do not attempt to perform a pause/resume of the instance. This is not a method of shutting down and restarting your DB instance in an effort to kill off problem sessions.
The recommended course of action if you have any questions regarding the health of your Aura database instance (both AuraDB and AuraDS), is to raise a ticket with the Support team. We can then look over the situation for you, let you know what is happening and take the appropriate action to resolve any issues seen.
