Not only can you connect from your local desktop browser to your Neo4j AuraDB Instance in the cloud, but you can also connect to it from the "Neo4j Desktop" application running on your laptop.
Here are the steps you should take to make it happen.
After you opened Neo4j Desktop on your local desktop/laptop, you should:
- Create a new project or use an existing project.
- in the Project UI, at the upper right, there is a +add button. Click it, and select "remote connection"
- Enter the name of the AuraDB Instance. Make sure you are using the "neo4j+s" protocol to connect. (which is copied from your Neo4j AuraDB console)
- Click next, and then you need your username/password to log in. If your input credentials are correct, then you will have the Neo4j Desktop connection to your Neo4j AuraDB Instance in the cloud. And now you can save this connection for later access.
